World Soundtrack Awards 2008

In 2008, the music of XXY and Inheritance, composed by Andrés Goldstein & Daniel Tarrab —winners of the 2007 World Soundtrack “Discovery of the Year” Award­—, was performed by the Flemish Radio Orchestra, conducted by Dirk Brossé, during the 8th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards. Prestigious film music composers, such as Angelo Baladamenti and Dario Marianelli, attended the performing which lead to the closing ceremony of the 35th Edition Ghent Film Festival 2008.

In previous years Goldstein & Tarrab had been nominees for the following:

» Discovery of the Year (Deuda - 2005)

Lifetime Achievement Award fue para Mikis Theodorakis.

Andrés Goldstein & Daniel Tarrab have been nominated by Argentina's Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for the renowned Sur Awards in the Best Original Score category, for "El Arca", "XXY" and "La Señal".

Andrés Goldstein & Daniel Tarrab have been nominated for the Clarín Entertainment Awards 2007 in the Best Score category for "La Señal".
